Description

Why can't I think of cool titles ;v;

This here is a lil practise with hoomans and also a lil birthday gift for :icontreerex0414: since it's his birthday today ovo
So happy birthday to you, I hope you have a great day ^^

And yeah... I don't know what to say right now cause it is late and I am kinda blanking out here xD
I might be away next week cause I am going to england for a week and imma try to get through my messages tomorrow cause there are a lot of them and sorry that I am replying so late, I am very slow with everything I do ;v;
Oh and I have something nice that might come tomorrow or on sunday depending on how things go, it is already finished and I guess it is something new and fresh I haven't done so far and that you guys probably wouldn't expect from me ovo
Am quite happy with it actually besides some things but I guess it is nice for a first try

Anyways, here are the credits:

The refs I used: My Pokemon charter by Treerex0414

And: assets.vg247.com/current//2016…

Treerex the Trainer belongs to :icontreerex0414:

This artwork was made using Painttool Sai

Mostly used my own lineart pen and the standard watercolor brush for it ovo
I think that it is the standard one at least since I don't remember changing that brush but am not quite sure

And this is the first time drawing a hooman digitally woooo, look at me trying new things \o/

Oi also thanks to treerex's cousin :icontfstuff: for reminding me, I usually don't do stuff like this since I don't do requests but in this case I though why not cause treerex helped me out by critiquing literally all my newer artworks and he is a nice guy and I also need to learn how to draw hoomans so ye o3o

If you were going for a simplistic piece, this is perfect, but if not, here are some tips! The eyes should have pupils or darker ovals inside, and try to add a bit more color into it. The hair could use some texture, so you could add some lines in there... And the piece is a little too on the warm color side. In a piece, it's always best to have balance. If there is too much of a warmer accent, the image no matter how clear it is in reality, will appear to be too soft or blurry to the mind. This illusion problem can be troubleshooted if the outlines are smaller and don't differ in color from the rest too much. If the skin is light peach, for example, and the outlines are brownish, then the image will or look feel too hot, like the sun is shining too bright. If cool colors such as aqua and light blue are utilized, then it will give the impression that the sky or some water is also there to counterbalance the effect of the warmer colors. Also try to use colors that are closer to being in the middle, such as purple and green, as these colors alone are more balanced than the rest, being in between the warmer colors and the cooler colors, or at least close that. The neck in the lower area should be clear and distinct until the shirt appears, eventually being cut off by the edge. Most portraits do this to keep it realistic. The hat could also use some texture as well, and that should be all.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to add a design to the hat.

^^ I hope this helped!
